Our Century City kitchen: Century Hill
This 1980 townhouse was gutted, and the kitchen was rebuilt from the studs: a full wall of white high-gloss cabinetry with built-in double ovens and refrigerator, gray quartz counters, a center island, a gas cooktop under a stainless chimney hood, and a fish-scale glass mosaic backsplash.
"We purchased a 3400 square foot townhouse built in 1980 and gutted it… Every detail from railings to light plates is new… we would absolutely use Jencor again." (the homeowner)
Remodeling a townhouse kitchen
Townhouse kitchens usually share walls and plumbing with the neighbors, and moving a sink or range has to work with what's in those walls. We sort that out before the cabinets are ordered.
Permits and HOA in Century City
Century City is part of the City of Los Angeles, so permits and inspections go through LADBS. In a townhouse complex like Century Hill, the HOA also has a say: plans, insurance certificates, work hours, parking and deliveries are usually approved before work starts. We handle both.
