Century Hill: a complete gut remodel
The owners bought a 3,400-square-foot townhouse built in 1980 and had us gut it. We moved walls, brought a balcony into the primary bedroom, built an all-new kitchen, rebuilt four bathrooms and the utility room, and replaced everything else, from the railings to the light plates. The primary bedroom now has a stainless cable-rail stair, a built-in dresser under the stair, flush modern doors and a corner fireplace in carved stone tile.
"We purchased a 3400 square foot townhouse built in 1980 and gutted it… Every detail from railings to light plates is new… we would absolutely use Jencor again." (the homeowner)
Permits and HOA in Century City
Century City is part of the City of Los Angeles, so permits and inspections go through LADBS. In a townhouse complex like Century Hill, the HOA also has a say: plans, insurance certificates, work hours, parking and deliveries are usually approved before work starts. We handle both.
